The circumstances surrounding settlement agreements are never enjoyable, but Sarah King was a reassuring and helpful voice, even before I instructed her. In fact, the introductory phone call convinced me to choose her over the solicitor I’d already found. I did not regret my choice! She very kindly squeezed me into her pre-Christmas schedule, after I’d been given an unachievable deadline by my employer. During our face-to-face meeting, Sarah went through the settlement agreement line by line and explained everything, whilst highlighting any clauses that were out of the ordinary or less fair to me than to my employer. She liaised with my employer’s solicitor, made the settlement agreement more equitable and increased the amount that I received.
